For the Chicken Shawarma
πΉ 3/4 tbsp ground cumin
πΉ 3/4 tbsp turmeric powder
πΉ 3/4 tbsp ground coriander
πΉ 3/4 tbsp garlic powder
πΉ 3/4 tbsp paprika
πΉ 1/2 tsp ground cloves
πΉ 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, more if you prefer
πΉ Salt
πΉ 8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
πΉ 1 large onion, thinly sliced
πΉ 1 large lemon, juice of
πΉ 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil (Private Reserve Greek EVOO)
For the Salad
πΉ 8 oz baby arugula
πΉ 2 to 3 Roma tomatoes, diced
πΉ 1 English cucumber, diced
πΉ 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
πΉ Juice of 1 lemon
πΉ Extra Virgin Olive Oil (Private Reserve or Early Harvest Greek EVOO)
πΉ 1 garlic clove minced
πΉ Salt and pepper
πΉ Sumac (about 1/2 tsp to 1 tsp sumac)
