Best Soft and Chewy Snickerdoodle cookies
Snickerdoodle Cookie Recipe
INGREDIENTS
1 cup unsalted butter (softened
1 ½ cup sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoon vanilla
2 ¾ cup flour
1 ½ teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cream tartar
1 teaspoon salt
CINNAMON SUGAR MIXTURE
¼ cup sugar
1 ½ tablespoon cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350°f
Cream butter sugar 4-5 minutes until light and fluffy, Scrape sides of the bowl, add eggs and vanilla. Cream 1-2 minutes more.
Stir in flour cream, The cream of tartar, baking soda, salt.
Refrigerate 20-30 minutes
On a separate bowl stir together sugar and cinnamon
Roll into small balls until round and smooth, Roll into cinnamon- sugar mixture
Bake 9-11 minutes
Rotate the pan halfway through
Let cool on the baking sheet before removing from pain.
